Tutor: Elisa Crossing

Includes refreshments, BYO lunch

This intensive workshop reveals how with just a basic knowledge of additive and subtractive colour theory, colour can be demystified. You will learn the characteristics of your pigments and their influence in colour mixes and be shown a system of mixing and matching colours which delivers accuracy every time. Finally, you will learn how to anticipate the way colours within a composition operate to generate drama and a sense of space.

About the tutor

A graduate of the ANU School of Art & Design Painting department, Elisa Crossing has exhibited paintings, drawings and 3D installation works in a career spanning two decades, with seven solo exhibitions and many group shows, locally and nationally. She has been an enthusiastic arts educator for over twenty years, lecturing at the ANU in Foundation Studies since 1998 and Painting since 2002.
