ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Learn the joys of using pigment pen and coloured pencils to create mixed media art.
Once the realm of childhood and a medium only used in colouring books or school projects, coloured pencils are now gaining worldwide acceptance as a legitimate art medium. There are many different techniques and artists can use them alone or as part of a mixed media work.
Learn about the different types of coloured pencils with demonstrations of how to use coloured pencils to build up glazes of rich colour (almost like paint), along with techniques to create texture and movement.
Tap into your imagination with Michaela’s help to bring touches of whimsy and elements of fantasy into your landscape.
